Synopsis - The Enterprise encounters an asteroid that can change it's direction, bound on a collision course for a highly populated Federation world. Upon beaming down they find it is actually populated with a crew that doesn't know they're on a ship. Here, McCoy, who has discovered he has only a year to live, falls in love with the world's leader, Natira.
