Synopsis - In the vicinity of Pollux IV, a large green hand of pure energy stops the Enterprise. And the Greek god Apollo invites Kirk to beam down. Apollo tries to romance Lt. Carolyn Palamas, who Scotty has already fallen for.
Who Mourns For Adonais exploits the myth of Greek gods, and sets them up as former visitors to Earth, who left when the human there outgrew them. Only Apollo forsaw that the humans would seek them out again. This episode also features a romance for Scotty, this time 'round.
