hore Leave is an interesting episode that deals with thought maifestation. The early Next Generation episode Where No One Has Gone Before also touches upon this point. This episode also brings out some character points, such as Lt. Sulu's being a collecter of ancient weapons, and the captain, not liking to take vacations; a point mirrored by Picard in the third season Next Generation episode Captain's Holiday. The Enterprise visits this planet again in the animated episode Once Upon A Planet.
