Editorial: |
he Conscience Of The King would be the last episode to feature Grace Lee Whitney as Yeoman Janice Rand as the producers felt the character would become too much of a distraction for the captain. Whitney would reprise her role in Star Trek - The Motion Picture. This was also a final Trek appearance for actor Bruce Hyde as Lt. Kevin Riley. This too was the first of many episodes to bring William Shakespere into the Star Trek universe.
